I just read an article in the NY Times about genetically engineered Salmon. It's waiting approval from the FDA but they say it could speed up the growth process of salmon to a few months rather than a few years what it takes a Salmon to grow.
It's a little scary but if it could help this could lead to engineered cows and pigs. They are doing it with vegetables, so who knows. Wanted to get your take.

What are your thoughts on sustainably farmed salmon (like in the Faroe Islands, and the Mt. Cook salmon of New Zealand)?
